Carnet de Voyage
Travelling with Le Kasha to Jordan
The Lin de Voyage collection is inspired by anciant Egypte.
Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest and noble in the world: their history goes back many thousands of years.
Fragments of straw, seeds, fibers, yarns, and various types of fabrics dating as far back around 8000 BC have been found. Linen was sometimes used as a form of currency in ancient Egypt. Egyptian mummies were wrapped in linen as a symbol of light and purity, and as a display of wealth.
The Carnet de Voyage of the linen collection is starting in the two borders countries of Egypt : in the Negev desert of Israel and following by Jordan... like a path to Egypt
